The Company has implemented anonymous reporting system for use by seafarers to report issues affecting health, safety, and pollution prevention to the Company.

These reports are received by the Company DPA and Director, Fleet.

The purpose of this reporting system is to allow seafarers at any level to anonymously report, when desired, issues related to material safety, operational safety, and environmental compliance on board.

The anonymous reporting is e-mail based and can be used by the seafarers using the crew kiosk, without going through the Master and using the ships business communication computer. In addition, the seafarers can e-mail to DPA from their private e-mail or call the DPA or any other Managers of the Company on his mobile phone.

The Anonymous reporting system shall not be abused by any seafarer onboard. Seafarers shall use this system, at any time, to report:

  • issues affecting occupational health and safety of personnel, environment, and
  • violation or potential violation of the Company policies - HSEQ, MARPOL, Drug and Alcohol Abuse, Operation and Maintenance.
  • issues raised by crew not properly addressed and resolved by the Master and Chief Engineer

The Company will not retaliate against any employee who, in good faith, reports a potential violation. Any attempt at retaliation against a seafarer who uses the reporting system or engages in any kind of whistleblowing within the Company will result in immediate disciplinary action.
