Anti-Harassment and Bullying Policy

The Company is committed to:

  • Protecting the dignity of all personnel working within the organization
  • Ensuring vessels are free from bullying or harassment
  • Promoting a diverse, respectful, safe, and equal work environment

Every employee has the right to be treated with dignity and respect. The Company prohibits discrimination based on gender, sexual orientation, culture, religion, or any other protected characteristic.

Bullying or harassment, whether onboard or ashore, will not be tolerated. Complaints will be handled per the Company’s Crewing Manual.

Any complaint from a seafarer or other individual will be addressed with fairness, sensitivity, and confidentiality, and may be referred to law enforcement if necessary.

Both management and seafarers share responsibility for maintaining a respectful and harassment-free workplace. Cooperation in investigations is expected from all parties.

Seafarers also have an obligation to cooperate with the investigation of complaints of bullying or harassment in the Company.

Managers, on board and ashore, have a particular responsibility to implement this policy and to make every effort to ensure that bullying and harassment does not occur, particularly in departments for which they are responsible.

Managers have an obligation to deal promptly and effectively with any incidents of bullying or harassment of which they are aware or ought to be aware.

The organization wants to ensure that the working environment supports an individual’s dignity and respect. Any act that is detrimental to an individual's dignity will be dealt with sternly. It will be the responsibility of the top management to ensure a safe working environment for employees.
